Social Media Club is about learning, and the leadership team tries to bring some great speakers in every month to do just that.
But we have an immense amount of knowledge within our own community. So, given the warm weather, we thought we’d leave July “speaker-less”. That’s right, we are not featuring any particular speaker this month!
Do you have a topic that interests you? Perhaps a short presentation you want to present? Perhaps you want to facilitate a workshop or discussion on a particular topic? This is your chance!
Simply contact Melanie Wood with your idea, then get prepared. There are four classrooms at University Canada West, so bring along a sign for the door (or a flipchart), so people can find you, and you can plug into the overheard projector, use the chalkboard, or just sit around and have a chat – whatever works!
And what if none of the talks people come up with interest you? No problem! The student lounge is open to socialize, chat, and otherwise learn from each other.
In short, this is the “UnMeeting”. We think it’ll be a lot of fun, and a great chance for people to learn lots from our experience community!
